What is engineered timber flooring?
Engineered timber flooring is a versatile and popular flooring option across New Zealand. The floorboards are made up of layers of ply that are bonded together to form a solid and highly stable core board. This is then topped off with any timber type, such as oak or Matai. Although more reliable and robust, it looks the same as any natural floorboard. It is durable, has high-performance qualities, is easy to care for and maintain, and is cost-effective, so many of our clients go for this option. The engineered timber flooring can be re-sanded and re-finished several times during its lifetime. It will never look old and used and will have a modern look throughout its time.
